Proposed data center on Caughbaugh Road
Our Mission of the SPS is to preserve Stoddartsville for generations to come. Stoddartsville and
surrounding areas face a very serious challenge with plans being submitted for seven data center buildings
to be installed on 100 of the 500 acre+ quarry on the Caughbaugh Road about ½ mile from Stoddartsville.
The Tobyhanna Township Board of Supervisors approved the spot zoning of this Rural Residential land to
Commercial Industrial use.
A group has been formed to challenge this proposal.

Tobyhanna Township Residents Against Caughbaugh Data Center
Stoddartsville is surrounded by protected areas potentially at risk of possible negative concerns that may
impact properties near a data center. Many of these parcels border the Lehigh River.
